Retail Markets repositions Customer Services to serve you better
During the last several years, our Retail Markets division has worked hard to standardize procedures and systems with the aim of increasing service consistency. Our goal is to blend operational excellence with service and value-added solutions for you and your clients.
We would like to advise you of our recent decision to integrate our remaining Calgary customer service operations into the larger Montreal head office operations. For you, this decision means enhanced turn-around time on key activities as well as enhanced overall consistency and quality of service.

Retail’s Customer Services in the Calgary office will be phased out over the next 12 months, and 25 new positions will be created in Montreal to help serve you better. Positions in Finance and Corporate Services that currently support Customer Services in Calgary will also be phased out.
Standard Life considers Western Canada a strategic market for growth. Therefore, the Calgary office will continue to employ sales staff in Retail, Group Savings and Retirement, Group Insurance, Standard Life Investments, Real Estate and Mortgage, Compliance, Information Technology as well as the Group Insurance Disability Management team.
