Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS)
The Total Customer Satisfaction Guarantee applies to all individual life insurance and money products, with the exception of structured settlements, and mutual funds offered through Standard Life Mutual Funds Limited. The Guarantee is over and above the consumer's normal ten-day cancellation right: it provides for a refund of premium and deposits at any time during the six months following the date of issue.
The six months guarantee, however, does not apply to a policy that has been issued in lieu of a previous policy, or is the result of exercising an option (G.I.B., Conversion, etc.).
Clients who wish to exercise this option are required to complete a short questionnaire stating which of the eight principles of our Code of Ethics did not meet with their satisfaction. Clients are also required to return the policy contract to our office.
